EMPLOYEE FITNESS PROGRAM STILL GOING STRONG
When F. M. Harvey Construction first began its bi-weekly group training program in 2015, no one would have predicted that it would still be going strong 3½ years later. But hitting the gym has been a highlight for many F.M. Harvey employees, many of whom have seldom missed a workout. Partnering with our trainer, Max Phillips of Brick Bodies Padonia, employees can choose to leave work an hour early on Tuesdays and Thursdays and attend a 1-hour high intensity workout before heading home. Studies show that a corporate fitness program can provide real benefits to a company and its employees including stress reduction, greater muscle tone, lower healthcare costs, higher morale, weight loss, increased productivity and overall happiness. Despite the regular grimaces, grunts, and griping that accompany each workout, the overall consensus is: It’s worth it! In this month of New Year’s Resolutions and kicking bad habits, our corporate fitness program is here to stay.
